Uniform Policy

PS 38 is a uniform school. All students must come to school "dressed for success" in their uniform. Uniforms help to reduce peer pressure and eliminate distraction in the classroom and students are easily identified as a PS 38 scholar which creates school spirit and helps build community in our schools.

PS 38 enforces a 100% compliance with our school uniform policy as a part of our efforts to continue improving the learning climate and safety of our school. 3K & Pre-K is exempt from the uniform requirements.

Hoodies cannot be worn to school but as an alternative, crew sweatshirts are allowed. Leggings are no longer allowed as uniform attire.

The uniform colors are:

Grey, White and Burgundy Polo Tops

Navy blue bottoms (NO JEANS)
